雅思写作1: With the Development of Society 真的太Low了

长久以来，雅思和托福写作的万金油开头句，'with the development of society' 或者 'with the development of technology' 都一直备受广大考生的青睐。可是事实上，考官一般看到这种句型，就会默认你是依靠模板的记忆型选手，起码第一印象就只能落在6分左右的水平。

看到这里同学们可能就迷茫了，为什么这个开头句这么不受考官青睐呢？

首先，大部分的考生当还没有看到写作题目的时候，都恨不得马上把 'with the development of society' 写在纸上。你若是雅思考官，每次雅思考官改作文都看到这种句子，你难道不会厌倦吗？

其次，外国的论文从没有 'the development of society' 或者 'the development of technology' 这种用法。如果想表达社会发展和技术发展，正确的说法为 'social development' 和 'technological development.'

最后，更不可思议的是，这个句子在语法和逻辑上真的不一定是你以为的万金油哦！

例题：Some people say that in spite of technological developments (e.g. the internet), books will always be an important source of information. Do you agree of disagree?

'With the development of society, more and more people believe that technology has exponentially changed the way the human acquires information.'

乍眼一看，这个句型好牛逼，好合理，好通顺，瞬间感觉写作能得9分。醒醒吧骚年，在雅思考官眼里这就是一个大病句！

'With the development of society, more and more people...' 中的 'with' 其实是修饰 'people' 的， 但是 'the development of society' 和 'people' 之间没有逻辑关系？社会的发展既不是people的一个属性，也不是people的descriptive details. 所以，这里的 "with + noun" 的用法是错误的！

正确的例子：

'With beautiful eyes, the girl is attractive.' 这个句子的逻辑关系就很清晰，因为眼睛是这个女生的一部分，是一个属性，一个detail。

'Computers with the invention of more powerful CPU can process numerous data faster.'

或者

'With the invention of more power CPU, computers can process numerous data faster.'

这个句子的逻辑关系也很清晰，因为CPU和电脑有直接的关系。 随着更加强大的CPU的诞生，电脑才可以更快速地处理大量的数据。

最后，如果大家实在是对 '随着XX的发展' 这种句型情有独钟，那么也请使用 'Because of + noun' 的用法来准确得表达自己想表达的意思。因为这类句子包含的是因果关系，而不是简单的随从关系。
